Working as part of the optimise initiative, a new BlackBerry section was required on the T-Mobile.co.uk website. The main deliverables were to increase conversion and enhance the user experience on the website.

Case study summary
Once targeted solely for the business market, BlackBerry® smartphones have rapidly gained popularity among the consumer market. Featuring new sleeker designs, app support and extensive messaging support they are becoming a mainstream consumer device.
As such, in order to leverage this increase in popularity and make the most of the trend, the current BlackBerry section on T-Mobile.co.uk needed a refresh and an increase in the amount of rich content. In order to really see an increase in conversion and sales, the main areas we aimed to address were the amount of relevant content available to the customer such as app support and BlackBerry Messenger information as well as a comprehensive Help and Support section.
The most pertinent feature of the new section was the drag and drop comparison tool, built using MooTools JavaScript functionality by the teams RIA (Rich Internet Application) JavaScript developer. This enables the customer to find out exactly which BlackBerry smartphone suits their needs, and with the ability to compare the best value plans, their wallet too!
Early indications via analytics are returning favourable results with an above average conversion rate for the new pages.
