Case study summary
As part of an optimisation team, we were tasked with the creation of a new interactive experience for My T-Mobile users and a refreshed Help and Support area on T-Mobile.co.uk.
I've always had a particular liking for the drag and drop functionality on the BBC home page, so when a UI Developer in the team created a prototype showing how we could use this functionality in a similar way on My T-Mobile I knew that this was going to be a great project.
Not only can the user arrange the information panels on their account, they can also add and remove them - totally customising their account to their needs. This functionality was capable due to the implementation of the MooTools JavaScript library by the UI developers within the team.
At the same time we also refreshed the My T-Mobile home page to show what the benefits were of registering and added a video to give a guided tour of My T-Mobile without having to first register. The Help and Support home page also got a few tweaks, adding Twitter feed functionality and improved signposting.
